Few days back, I watched a documentary on how white owners didn't want black players in their basketball teams in NBA. The first black team allowed in the arena'The Globethrotters' were brought in as a clown team entertaining guests before the real match. Before long the owners and officials realised that the guests started leaving the arena as soon as the 'black clowns' were gone . Eventually, globethrotters beat the Los Angeles Lakers back to back, and people started taking them serious . Today, black players dominate the league and there are teams owned by blacks. I learnt an important lesson here, merit will always overcome bullcrap it may even take some time, but merit will come up tops.
